pretty darn cool antique find- a “proof & traille hydrometer” designed to measure the proof of spirits based on density. it was accurate for this 80 proof bottle
exploring the river near our friend’s house- lindsey finding newts and tiny crawfish. she could spend hours looking around in pools
50lb pig spit roasted, mac and cheese, baked beans, arugula salad with crispy pig ears, roasted potatoes, watermelon and cantaloupe
couldn’t sleep and ran out of a coffee, took the car into the city but decided on driving the long route- wish it could have lasted forever.
